This is a dot plot animation of eleven months of COVID19 cases in Lithuania.

It starts quiet, but becomes busier. Wait for it.

Each dot is a confirmed case of COVID. Dots are randomly placed within municipalities; some cases are not attributed to municipalities so are not plotted.

Plotted with RStats using data from the National Centre for Public Health with thanks to Andreas Beger for the example of how to draw dot plots for the 2016 U.S. election.
